<p>An established UK inbound tour operator is hiring a full time Mandarin speaker operations executive for its South London office.<br />
TheÂ  position will handle group and independent travel bookings from China into UK and Ireland.</p>
<p>The role requires fluent Mandarin Chinese and English (other languages or Chinese dialects an advantage), good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to details. Experience in the tourism industry is preferred but not essential. A valid permit for working in the UK is required.</p>
<p>Full on the job training, professional support and business trips to China are included. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate based on their skills and experience.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>China the Future of Travel is a travel industry forum on China&#8217;s growing outbound tourism market, organised by ChinaContact.</p>
<p>The forum will host about 180 delegates from Europe and North America as well as a delegation of Chinese travel agents and travel media journalists.</p>
<p>World Travel Market is the largest travel trade exhibition in Europe, held from 12-15 November at ExCel, London.</p>
<p>ChinaContact is calling for 5 bi-lingual volunteers who are interested to learn more about the travel industry and China&#8217;s place in it. Volunteers need to speak good English and Mandarin Chinese. Other Chinese dialects (Shanghainese, Cantonese) are beneficial. Prior experience, or interest in, the travel industry is preferred.</p>
<p>The role of volunteers will be to assist with registration and logistics on the day, and help interpret conversations between the Western and Chinese delegates.</p>
<p>Public transportation costs, uniform (shirts) and lunch will be provided.</p>
<p>Volunteers will be required to attend two training sessions in central London prior to the event.<br />
