China desperate to improve image of its overseas tourists: “Tourists traveling abroad for the first time lack cross-cultural communication skills. They assume things tolerated in China are also acceptable in other countries”…

Travel destinations for China Tourism :

Chinese police to be drafted in to Paris to help protect tourists: The foreign officers will be deployed to key landmarks to prevent Chinese visitors being targeted by pickpockets and muggers…

Scotland should look to Chinese and older visitors for long-term tourism boom: This means, among other things, providing more translation services (menus, tourist guides, directional signs) and offering more Asian cuisine…

Surge in Chinese arrivals boosts Maldives tourist numbers: According to the Tourism Ministry, the Chinese market expanded by 24% with an additional 16,960 tourists compared with the same period of 2013…

Why don’t the Chinese come to Latin America?: Nearly one million Chinese visit France and Germany, while another half a million visit Italy annually. Spain had 150,000 Chinese tourists in 2012. And what about Latin America? …

Chinese visitors now biggest spenders in Singapore: Arrivals by Chinese travelers fell 31% in the fourth quarter of last year but their spending rose slightly – by 1% – compared with the same period in 2012…
