Tour details:
The plan is to organise a group of 15-20 people travelling to Beijing, Tianjin, Xian, Hangzhou and Shanghai in late October. The group will get to meet innovators and leaders in China’s tech and internet sectors and visit some of the most exciting, fast growing companies in China. Social events will allow group members to get to know local entrepreneurs and investors better. In between, we will visit some of the best tour attractions like the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors and West Lake in Hangzhou. Last but not least, we will try out a fantastic array of high quality Chinese food in authentic settings.
Roy Graff is a veteran of China’s tourism industry with a focus on online travel and e-commerce. He lived in Shanghai and Beijing and travelled around China extensively. He will be personally leading this tour.
An added option is to continue with the group heading East and stop in Hawaii for the ‘geeks on an island’ retreat that Christine Lu is organising in the first week of November. More about this to come later.
