In this week’s news, the focus was on the influence of China’s new tourism law and visa regulations on Chinese outbound tourism. Nevertheless Chinese tourists are on their way to outspend all the others combined and have a strong  thirst for new overseas travel experiences that no new regulation or law will prevent them from quenching.

CHINESE CAN VISIT 18 COUNTRIES WITHOUT PRIOR VISAS
INFLUENCE OF NEW TOURISM LAW FELT IN CHINA OUTBOUND TOURISM
 Chinese can visit 18 countries without prior visas : but the exit and entry inspection could bar Chinese nationals from leaving the country if their destination does not fit with the government protocol.
The Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection said on Tuesday on its official Sina Weibo account that its intention as one that “does not want to stop travelers but the inspection station itself has to follow protocols issued by the Ministry of Public Security.” …

Destinations around the world have reported lower arrival numbers for Chinese visitors in the weeks following the introduction of the new Chinese tourism law. Many Chinese outbound tour operators raised their prices especially for their cheapest products as once again they have to pay their tour guides.
