VisitBritain’s new GREAT China Welcome Chartermark has been launched, and the online guide developed by ChinaContact is now operational. Read more information about it in our Top Stories of the Week.
 
The China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) will open this Wednesday, 9 of April in Beijing. It is the only China outbound travel market purely for the trade, catering primarily for Beijing and North China agents.

The aim of the reform is to shorten and simplify the procedures for those wanting to come to the EU for short stays, with the objective of boosting economic activity and job creation.

 
The reform would also create a new type of visa, the touring-visa. It would allow legitimate travellers to circulate in the Schengen area for up to 1 year, as long as they don’t stay in one member state for more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
